We are exploring a possible conflict with the Windows DEP (Data Execution Prevention) Settings that appears to be related to AMD processors with hardware based DEP.
If your AcroPlot Software will not even open please check that your DEP settings is set to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only" or if it is set to "Turn on DEP for all programs except those I select" you will and to add our AcroPlot.exe, AcroPlotMatrix.exe, or AcroPlotRepro.exe to the list of exceptions..
The DEP settings are found under the Control Panel->System->Advanced
Tab->Performance Settings->Data Execution Prevention.
Again this appears to be a conflict with the Tree List Control
we use in the interface and the AMD Hardware Based DEP.
We hope to have a fix for it soon so you would not have to
add our program to the list of exceptions.
